Chapter 2

☁️I always do my best to avoid her. But I failed once again.☁️

☁️He seems stressed; I never told him why she scares me this much though…It's trauma, and I can't seem to open up about what happened between me and her.☁️

It's been 2 minutes now…he's trying to talk to her, but she's in shock.

- "Mikayla?"

- "Miky?"

- "Look at me."

- "Tell me what happened."

- "Miky?", she snapped back to reality.

She doesn't let out a single word. Just a simple sigh of relief. She looks up.

☁️He looks so concerned, I hate doing this to him. He doesn't need to help me every time this happens.☁️

She hugs him. But he hugs her back tighter.

- "Miky, I know something happened in the past. I know you. But you know I won't force you to tell me anything, but still, I'm always here if you wanna talk about it."

☁️Zaven, being extra reassuring these days…Am I blushing? I don't want you to leave. I've never felt this way before…☁️

- "Thanks Za" she replies while looking up at him.

A tear falls down her cheek. Without another thought, he approaches her and wipes the tear away. She then chuckles and he smirks.

☁️Does he like me more than friends? Maybe I'm just overthinking? He's just a friend…No?☁️

School just ended, and like every day after school, he walks her back home, because he lives only a block away.

It's not uncommon for Zaven to carry her backpack either; he likes to tease her about her height, when he puts it on his shoulders. She always gets a little mad when he makes fun of her; but it's never meant to be mean on his part.

- "Tell me once again, Miky, why are you so small?"

- "Urgh! Stop it Za!" She answers while pouting. Zaven answers while chuckling, "No! But seriously, I wanna know!"

She crosses her arms and looks away.

- "You're cute when you're mad."

☁️Im cute?☁️

He's smiling, but they haven't said anything since, the silence is louder though.

They arrive at her place, they say their goodbyes and he leaves…that's the routine.
